7:45 start from the register at the HPIC. Good trail to herd path. Broke trail to summit. Summit at 11:45. Phelps junction at 1:45, Summit Phelps 2:45. Back at register 4:15. Passed numerous idiots on Phelps trail. |

The Good:Dinner at Hillside Diner in Start Lake. Crockpot dinner after hiking. |
The Bad:Idiots post holing and ruining Phelps trail. |
The Drive |
| Standard, stop at Hillside Diner for dinner. Quick service, great food (homemade fries) |
